We are loving the beach!

Not much news

This week was challenging but challenges are good when we learn something from them!

In other news we did a lot of finding/tracting and decided to tract in the bush by the mountains and picked some random houses  (prayerfully of course) and we ended up finding a former investigator family! We thought they might've been confused with Jehovah's Witnesses but they said that we had the badges. They said first sisters came and taught them, then they sent Elders and then they randomly stopped coming. But they invited us back! It was such a miracle that we found them, wow. I still can't stop thinking about it. It was COMPLETELY by chance that we found them in the bush. That is how I know that Heavenly Father is directing this work. I'm so glad  that this is His mission, not mine. I've understood and witnessed the power of prayer and to use it as much as possible in this work.

Love you guys! This church is true, miracles like this wouldn't happen if it wasn't!

Have a great week :)

Shell Cove Race

So every week us and the Elders volunteer at this 5k race for the community and we just cheer on the runners and get our name out there. They even gave the missionaries a shout out on Facebook! So fun.

Happy Mother's Day!

Shoots! Have no time!

Okay sorry for the short email but FARRRRR out this week was fun. I fetchin love Dapto, my companion, my district, being a missionary, life is good. Here's pics to back up how happy I am haha.

-I love this crazy Malaysian
-We are a family down here in the Coast! #DistrictDapptagong (Dapto mixed with Mittagong)
-One of our members was in the hospital on sunday so we had a sacrament meeting in the hosptial with her, SO FUN. (That's the Dapptagong sign)
-While we were visiting with Sister Tyson (the member) this old greek lady just kept walking in and out and would stare at us and yell greek at us. We would just nod our heads and smile back at her while she'd continue to speak greek at us haha so crack up. She finally sat down and listened to us while we sang hymns and then we got a pic with her #SnappingMemories :)
-The other day me and Sister Chan went into a house with 4 cats and we were both dying of allergies. This is us dying after coming home.
-Us and the Elders: Elder Paie (from Tahiti) and Elder Stott (from Utah) went finding at this Airplane show it was SOOO COOL.
-They were doing flips and such

Out of the City!

Hello family, I have been transferred to the South Coast in Dapto! It's sooooo beautiful here. It's what we also call "The Bush" meaning no city, and the next town is far as away haha. It's awesome. Complete opposite of Bankstown!

I was sad to leave Bankstown but sooooo ready to leave haha. My replacement is my mom Sister Uelese! She'll be there to clean up my mess hahah! My companion is Sister Chan from Malaysia and she's AMAZING. I feel so blessed.

Sister Chan hasn't been in Dapto long so it's a shot gun (meaning 2 brand new sisters in the area) so we're having a blast getting to know the area, members and Bishop.

We met Bishop last night and just started brainstorming activities, ideas, and such on how to get the ward more involved in missionary work. It was awesome! This ward seems a lot like my ward in Canberra and i'm so pumped! As you can tell with all of my exclamation points haha. Sorry bout that.

This will be a sweet as transfer.

P.s. The boys will be proud of this. In Bankstown we get bashed like everyday by Muslims or hard out 7th day Adventist. We call them "The Bankstown Bashers", anyway, finally I had enough and my second to last day in Bankstown, instead of throwing a one, two punch at the guy, I Bible bashed him (who was asking for it) and I won. Don't judge. Oh and the guy was Jehovah's Witness so it felt real nice.

-The Mortdale Zone at the Beach
-SPIRIT OF BANKSTOWN! There's this statue in front of our Library and sometimes we pass it and sacrifice burnt offerings and worship it when proselyting.
-The Sharma family! Please excuse the undies haha, those boys will be the death of me.
-Tongamua family! My actual family. Me and Kaleti (the mom) were just bawling when we said goodbye haha, she's like my older sister. Same age as Carrie.
-Live pic, me and Sister Chan! Taken just now.
